šāØ Blue Moon in Sagittarius | Where the Arrow Points
May 31, 2026
There are Full Moons, and then there are this.
A Blue Moon is the second Full Moon in a single calendar month ā rare enough that we built a phrase around it. Once in a blue moon. The thing that almost never happens. The extraordinary dressed as ordinary time. And when that moon rises in Sagittarius ā the sign of the archer, the wanderer, the seeker of every horizon ā what we are being asked is not a small question.
We are being asked: What have you been waiting for?
Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the zodiac, a fire sign ruled by Jupiter, the great planet of expansion, abundance, and truth. Where other signs hesitate, Sagittarius moves. Where others ask permission, Sagittarius has already aimed the arrow and let it fly. The centaur ā half human, half horse ā carries within them the wildness of instinct and the wisdom of philosophy. They are not afraid of the wide open. They are made for it.
A Full Moon in Sagittarius always carries an invitation to expand. To stop waiting until the moment is perfect. To trust that the arrow knows its mark even when you cannot see it yet. But a Blue Moon in Sagittarius? That invitation becomes urgent. Sacred. Charged with the kind of once-in-a-rare-while energy that asks you to pay attention in a way you usually do not.
This is not an ordinary night.
The Full Moon illuminates what has been growing quietly in the dark. In Sagittarius, that light falls on your beliefs ā the ones you chose consciously and the ones you absorbed without realizing it. It falls on your sense of freedom and where you have quietly fenced it in. It falls on the adventures you have been deferring, the truths you have been holding back, the version of yourself that is larger and bolder and more alive than the one you have been performing.
Sagittarius does not do small. And neither, tonight, do you.
The Blue Moon amplifies everything. Whatever has been building ā the longing, the knowing, the restless sense that something is ready to shift ā it peaks here. This moon is an exclamation point at the end of a sentence you have been writing for a long time. It is permission you did not know you needed. It is the sky itself saying: now.
You do not have to have it figured out. The archer does not know where the arrow will land. They trust the aim, the breath, the release. They trust the direction even without the destination. That is the gift Sagittarius offers under this rare and blazing moon.
You are allowed to want more. You are allowed to reach further. You are allowed to believe ā really believe ā that what you are seeking is also seeking you.
Let the Blue Moon in Sagittarius find you with your arms open.
